The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children see an orthodontist for the first time by age 7.

Picture this: your child knocks out a baby tooth. No big deal, you think. But time goes on, and the adult tooth still hasn’t started to emerge.

Choosing braces is an exciting step toward the smile you’ve always wanted, but we know the journey comes with questions.

Picture this: you’re prepping for a big presentation, a career milestone, or simply trying to feel confident in your everyday interactions.

Picture this: your teen is sitting in the orthodontist’s chair for an adjustment they’ve been dreading all week.

As a parent, you want what’s best for your teen, especially when it comes to their smile.

Choosing an orthodontic treatment is a big step, and it’s only natural to want a solution that’s as precise as it is comfortable.

Imagine finally completing your orthodontic journey: your teeth are beautifully aligned, and your confidence soars every time you smile.

Does your child feel discomfort when they chew, or has their dentist mentioned overcrowded teeth or a narrow palate?

At Stoutland Orthodontics, patients aren’t just another name on the schedule—they’re treated like part of the family. Our clinical team is handpicked for their warmth, humor, and orthodontic expertise, and they go above and beyond to create a comfortable, supportive environment.
